Privacy Policy

The Ballerz Club is a baseball entertainment venue in Kennewick, Washington. This website is a place to learn about us and ask about an event. It is not a store and it is not an account system.

We do not sell your information. We do not run advertising trackers, analytics, or session recording on this site. There is no shopping cart, no login, and no payment on these pages.

What you type into our booking form

The booking form on our contact page and our pricing page asks for your name and your email address. It also asks about the event you are planning: the type of event, a preferred date, roughly how many guests, and anything you want to tell us in the requests box.

A phone number is optional. If you give us one, the form also records whether you checked the box asking us to text you.

Please keep health, medical, and allergy details out of the form. If someone in your group needs an accommodation, call us at (509) 820-3016 or email ballerzclubtc@yahoo.com and we will take care of it directly.

Basic visit information

Our web host keeps standard server logs. When your browser asks for a page, the log records your IP address, the kind of browser and device you are using, which page you asked for, and when you asked for it. That is how the page gets delivered to you and how attacks get spotted.

Most of this site stores nothing at all. Our home page, pricing page, about page, and events pages set no cookies and use no browser storage.

The pages that carry the booking form load Google reCAPTCHA. It is a spam check, and it works by watching how you move, scroll, type, and click on that page so it can tell a person from a bot. It stores two things in your browser:

• a cookie named _GRECAPTCHA
• a local storage entry named _grecaptcha

Both belong to the spam check. We do not use them to recognise you, and we do not read them.

Our contact page and the bottom of our home page show a Google map of where we are. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information, the same as if you had opened Google Maps yourself. On the home page the map only loads if you scroll down far enough to reach it.

Our street address is written out in plain text next to the map, so you never have to load the map to find us.

Four outside parties are involved, and that is the whole list:

• A form delivery service. When you submit the booking form, it goes to an outside service that passes your message on to our inbox. It handles your name, your email, and the details you typed.
• Our web host. It serves these pages and keeps the server logs described above.
• Google reCAPTCHA. The spam check described above. It receives the interaction data it scores.
• Google Maps. The map described above. It receives your IP address and browser information when the map loads.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not hand it to advertisers.

Links that take you somewhere else

Our Book Now button opens an outside reservation platform. Our Instagram and Facebook links open those sites. Once you click, you have left our website and the other company's privacy policy governs what happens next. We do not send them anything about you before you click.

The phone number on our booking form is optional, and the box asking us to text you starts unchecked. We only text you about your request if you check it yourself.

• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help.
• Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can book with us, call us, and get a quote without ever agreeing to texts.
• Messages are sent through a messaging provider, which handles your number in order to deliver them.

Booking requests arrive as email and sit in our inbox. We are a small business and we do not run an automatic deletion schedule, so assume a request stays in the inbox until we clear it out or you ask us to delete it.

Server logs are held by our web host on its own normal schedule. We do not control that timing.

• tell you what we have about you
• correct something that is wrong
• delete your request from our inbox
• stop texting or emailing you

We will need enough information to find your message, which is usually the email address or phone number you used.

Advertising

There is nothing to opt out of on this site, because we do not run ad personalisation, retargeting, or conversion tracking here. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.

Controlling cookies yourself

Your browser can block or delete cookies, including the spam check cookie. Look for cookies or site data in your browser settings. Blocking it may stop the booking form from submitting, in which case call us instead.

The two Google services described above are covered by Google's privacy policy.

We are a family venue and we love having kids in the building. This website, though, is written for the adult doing the booking. We do not ask for information from children through this site, and we do not knowingly collect it. If you believe a child sent us something through the form, email us and we will delete it.

If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. There is no archive of old versions, so the date at the top is the one that counts.
